When I was exploring for oil in central Australia we used to mix Andrews flavoured liver salts with what water we could find. We got the water from cattle watering ponds, so it was brown and had beetles swimming in it. I suppose you could call it a beetle float. Anyway, that was one of the most delicious drinks I have ever had - lemon or strawberry. Maybe shade temperatures in the 50+ degree range had something to do with it.
