I hope everyone had a Happy Christmas day.
Victoria did its usual erratic thing weather-wise, and Christmas day was quite cold (around 16 C) when a very few days ago it was close to 40 C, and with huge bushfires (the biggest has now burned about 3360 square miles of bushland, and destroyed quite a few houses).
Luckily there was some rain (and snow on the mountains) which has damped the fires down a bit so most of the firefighters could have Christmas with their families.
