The Amazons had camped on Wildcat Island previously.

When Nancy was doing the BLACK SPOT with CF, Peggy and the others started setting up the Amazons' tent.


From SA CH26:
"This way," she said. "It's lucky you didn't pitch your tents
on our place, or we really should have had to fight you for it.

...

...the Swallows saw the remains of a
worn square patch. Peggy dug about with her fingers in the
grass and found a hole at each corner of the square.

"The tent poles fit into those holes," she said.


This does not indicate if they camped there alone, or with CF also camping in a nearby tent. But being so near in the houseboat, which makes it easy for him to come to the island and be a part of activities as needed, I rather doubt he camped there also.
