Maybe if you contacted the guy (whose name escapes me at present) who organises TARS in Canada, he could tell you if there were any members near you. If so, you could join TARS and arrange your own activities with like minded people from your region.
Dave Thewlis, the TARSUS coordinator might know of some members just over the border from you too.
