In 1986 I attended the NCTM (National Convention of Teachers of Mathematics) in Washington DC.
At one of the lectures I was at a professor from Texas (could this be you John?) presented the following problem:
If n points are equally spaced around a unit circle and one of these points is joined to each of the others the product of the lengths of the (n-1) chords is n.
He did prove the statement but my notes didn't make it home and I have been unsuccessful in repeating the proof.
