Thank you, you genuine yachtsmen - as a landlubber fan of Arthur Ransome, it is good to see a real discussion going on, about something that actually IS - not all the conjecture about what which fictional character would or would not do.
I'm not knocking the 'fictional' discussions, either, I hasten to add - before I get into trouble! I love the fact that they ARE such real characters, and enjoy the conjecture as much as anyone.
