In the light of this shocking new information, perhaps other previously 'solved' cases should be re-examined. The supposed innocence of this dastardly duo of the allegations that form the subject of The Big Six may need to be re-examined.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I put it to you that Mr Ransome must be considered a biased witness, and rule his evidence inadmissable. Further, Constable Tedder has a vested interest: the conviction of these depraved children and their associates, might adversely affect the weeding of his garden.
I would also ask that the illegal possession of birds' eggs, the last act in which these children are described, be taken into consideration. Once again, the connivance of Mr Arthur Ransome in portraying these crimes in an innocent light, and the gratuitous defamation and libelling of a well-respected ornothologist, is noted by this court.
