Old Bob’s tow-boat tows home Teasel, Titmouse and the Death and Glory, plus the Margoletta’s dinghy immediately astern.
But Teasel, and Death and Glory both had somebody steering. That makes all the difference.
And when Tom let his attention lapse the fact was instantly noticed (with disapproval) by old Bob in front and Joe behind.
