Another S&W mention in a novel

I was pleased to see a mention of a brand new copy of Swallows & Amazons being given to a young evacuated girl in a Mary Jane Staples novel 'Bright Day, Dark Night' set in 1941. When you start to look its quite amazing how many times AR books are mentioned - often in other children's books too.
