Nice to see the Clifford Webbs, but I think I prefer the AR style. There is an undefinable 'something' about them, almost mysterious, that leads one deeper into the narrative. I think it is the simplicity of the artwork, there is a lot of 'space' that is crying out to have detail added. This, of course, reflects the fells, the lakes, the open water, where indeed there is a lot of empty space.
The gem for me was to see the short trailer for the TV series, but it stops so short. Is there anymore to be found?
It's well over 40 years since I first saw it but its amazing how the memory plays tricks - some of those young actors don't come across as I remember them at all!
If you can add the rest of the clip, I'd love to see it.
