Ian - is this a permanent loss, as in the files themselves are unrecoverable, or "merely" temporary unavailability due to some other form of machine failure? If the former, perhaps various TARBoarders have saved copies of the Zipped archive files you've made available from time to time; if the latter, perhaps there's another site which could offer hosting of zipped archives (for instance, Yahoo tarboard Group)?
