The maps in the Puffin paperback editions of the books are of variable quality (e.g. "Kanchenjunor"), but the Roaring Donkey is shown on the 'endpaper' map (actually on pages 10-11, just before the start of the text) of my 1983 Puffin edition of The Big Six. It's across the River Thurne from the mouth of Kendal Dyke and a short distance along the Thurne in an ENE (or coastward) direction.
