Heck - I knew my description wouldn't be good enough! I can see it in my mind but putting it into words is impossible!!!
BTW - horses going downhill fast tend to use both front feet together and sort of hop so they can keep most weight on the back legs. That way they don't go head over heels which they could do being hind legs are so much more powerful than forelegs.
