The old AR website was found at www.arthur-ransome.org/ar/
This was because of a means of lowering the cost of having the URL when we first set up the website about ten years ago. At that time the site was by intention a more generally AR site than specifically a TARS site.
With the new site the /ar/ suffix isn't needed and www.arthur-ransome.org takes you straight to the TARS website home page.
But a very nice touch is that, if you still have the old www.arthur-ransome.org/ar/ bookmarked, it will take you directly to the AR section of the new website.
