Of course, if we do it it will revert to being only a Mk I dream, but I'm in favour nevertheless.

I believe we're at odds with our respective Dreamlands. Although Coniston has been spoilt for me, the last occasion I visited was for Brigit's Memorial Service, I still consider Lakeland to be Dreamland Mk 1,the Broads Mk 2 with The Walton Backwaters as Mk 3, you may disagree but it would be interesting to hear other opinions, and why.

A word of advice Jock; I mentioned we hired a Japonica from Martham Boats last Friday, we being Keith Paull, age 80, Mike Shepherd age 70 and myself age 21! This was the first time any of us had sailed a Japonica which is a traditional Broads 30' gaff rig. Never again! Hoisting the mainsail peak, throat and topping lift with its heavy gaff was very difficult and the mudweight must have weighed at least a ton! In future it's Bermudan with an aluminium mudweight!
