Mrs. McGinty is not local the the Broads area so her speech is not reflecting the standards of that part of the world.

Jacky seems to be speaking in such a different dialect from that of Nancy and Peggy

Jacky, working class lad, locally schooled - Cumbrian dialect accent, the Blacketts, middle class, privately schooled - more "received pronunciation" dialect.

Historically Cumbria/Lake District is part of Strathclyde - a Scottish kingdom. Local dialect accents merge into Scots from the North Lancashire ones of the south lakes. North Cumbrian around 'Peerith' ( Penrith ) and beyond can be very thick - see Border Ballads.

Interesting variety in pronunciation of the sheep counting numbers linked on the Lakeland Dialect Society page.
( My wife's family from Dacre area ( near Penrith ) use this version )
