My wife, Susan Fox, recently went on a trip to Kenya (mostly Earthwatch with some
Masai Mara photographing for future paintings). While at Elsamere she took some pictures
of small, 2-person sailboats on the lake. These are all fishing vessels and of interest
in part because of how they are built, and in part because of the rigging. The third
picture particularly interested me; the boat is presumably lateen-rigged but I've never
seen a picture of such a boat with its sail in such a position. URL for the pictures is below;
