Wayne Hammond points out that I probably meant "pidgin" English and not "pigeon"
English. My theory is that I was thinking of Homer and Sophocles chatting about how long
it was going to take Sappho to fly back from Tyson's the day of the fire: "short time
bimeby maybe...."
