I found this article last month. Okay, so John Walker must be a pretty
common name, but it seemed so perfect - John Walker (must be Commander
Walker's grandson?) gets married (to a soldier, no less!) on a warship!

Valentine's dream wedding ends up on warship
SPLIT, Croatia, Feb 14 (Reuters) - A British soldier and her
sailor fiance, forced to abandon plans for a dream wedding on a
tropical island when duty called, ended up tying the knot on a
warship in the chilly Croatian port of Split on Valentine's Day.
``Our original plan was to go to Sri Lanka, to the Maldives,
but my tour out here was extended and we couldn't make it,''
Staff Sergeant Jacquie O'Rourke, who serves with the NATO-led
peacekeeping force in Bosnia, told Reuters television.
Dressed in a long white gown and carrying a bouquet of white
flowers, O'Rourke, 28, wed Petty Officer John Walker, 27, on
Sunday on the Fort Grange auxiliary ship in front of around 35
friends and family.
The couple will honeymoon on the Croatian island of Brac. A
beautiful Adriatic getaway in the summer, Brac would not
normally be a first choice for a February honeymoon.
``It's the closest place to get a honeymoon out here,'' said
Walker, who returned from the Gulf just 10 days ago.
