The film was made for the BBC by a short-lived company called Windsor Films Ltd.

Some years ago I contacted the BBC to try to obtain a copy for the Society's archive, unfortunately, when they opened the can they found it had deteriorted too much to make a ccpy. I have since heard of a couple a of showings, perhaps somebody made a pirate copy and kept it! Incidentally, Susan George who played Kitty, yes Kitty, vey kindly sent me one episode from the series and that also was very patchy.
