Yes it was an evocative article. I thought it curious, however, that someone could read SW as a child and keep a boat at Pin Mill and not remember the connection. Also, I was surprised at the way I bristled at her casual assumption that the Swallows' exploration was a kind of colonialism re-enactment game, despite having said so often enough myself!
On the subject of AR related articles, there are three in this month's (June's)edition of Classic Boat. Two by our very own Peter Willis one on Peter Duck the boat class and the other on the King family who built her. The third is a Racundara inspired account of a cruise around Estonia and the Gulf of Boothia (spelling?).
