Well spotted, Geraint. I suggest, then, that the Harrods model is what Capn Flint meant by a 'perfectly good folding boat to be bought'. Maybe AR thought of a 'DIY' version so that when it capsized he wouldn't be sued by Harrods . . .

(hoping that I won't be sued either, or edited - I seem to be posting 'folding messages' today ;-)
