I agree entirely with all the sentimental rubbish about High Bank Ground, it'a a wonderful place, on film and in reality, but why does the story persist that AR spent time there when writing S&A's? Apart from the short time he spent there in 1928 when the Altounyans came to visit I've never come across any evidence. Even Pauline Marshall has said somewhere that he was only an occasional visitor.
BTW. Does anybody know how Lucy is these days?
