My post was made in good faith simply to alert other TarBoarders to the Bank Ground Webcam, which they might find interesting, particularly with regard to the obvious AR connection. And the various landscape views available are proto-typical Ransome territory.
Peter, I never doubted this for an instant. But I do recall several occasions on TarBoard when you argued that it was a mistake to set out to find real life originals for AR's locations, because AR created generic locations based on many Lakeland originals. I simply wondered whether you have now changed your view, or whether you regard Bank Ground Farm as being the exception to the rule.
