I don't know of any book which is "Susan's own". In fact all the ones with the Swallows in them rely on Susan for the logistics of the operation, and none of them would have been believable without her input. She is one of those "unsung heroes" which make the activities of the others possible.
It is her "nativeness" which allows many of the adventures to take place without the dampening hands of the real natives being evident.
