Who Ted Walker?

Actually he probably went to Osborne and Dartmouth; when the new scheme for officer training began in 1903 cadets trained at Osborne on the Isle of White for two years then Dartmouth for two. Osborne closed in 1921, mainly to cut costs but also because it was falling apart (mind you it was built in about 7 months).

Then again, he is just about old enough to have trained on board HMS Britannia whcih was the training hulk at Dartmouth before the college opened in 1905 (although the two overlapped for a couple of years afterwards)
