I finally got around to seeing Pirates of the Caribbean III. Sigh. The tendency to treat sailing ships as if they were motorboats is extremely pronounced in this one, not to mention overdoing the Disney in-jokes. (Luckily, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom still provide nice eye candy)
Time to go reread PD and see what some real pirates can do!
