We've a copy of Sea Songs & Shanties: Traditional Music from the Last Days of Sail.

This CD is grand. The music is unadorned. The recording is raw with zero post production.
This is the real thing!

My favourite is Stormy Weather Boys sung by Bob Roberts at the time that he worked
unpowered Thames Barges from London Docks along the East Coast.

If you dislike the "yo ho ho" commercial style of shanty singing, which became popular
during the British Folk Revival, and would like to hear something more authentic,
this CD is for you.
