Thank you -- accepted and feared and when that happens, very few have the courage to confront the ogre. Organizations like the KKK operated using fear and intimidation - hence the robes and hoods. Who was going to yank the hood off a KKK when there is only one of you and thousands of them? There is strength in numbers. Now, thankfully, our numbers vastly out number them.

We now see groups like the KKK for what it is, but we must look and see what it was THEN and why it was accepted then so it won't happen again. Again, a case for in-depth study of where we have been, how we got here and where ARE we going? And we must remember that Hitler was "freely"(?) elected.

I will check out "Elsie's Motherhood".
