Thanks to all for posting and helping. I now have a good dust-jacket which I have covered in library polythene and the book looks complete again. It would in no way fool a collector - that was not the point at all, I just like my old hard-backs to resemble their original state and be protected again, which is the purpose of a dust-jacket is it not?
They also look better on the shelves in my opinion.
