With respect, Claire, you don't know. I don't know why you say that. I myself find your speculation of great interest - I have also wondered if Swallow was used by other children during the holidays. The same can be wondered about Wild Cat Island. The books create an impression, perhaps an illusion, of exclusivity. I will be interested to read what others think about this aspect.
