By 1935, AR had sold Swallow prior to his move to Levington. Perhaps by this time the fictional Swallow has also gone meriting just a passing mention in PP.
Maybe by the time the Swallows reached Holly Howe, the Dixons had sold her off the lake. This could account for her not being seen again.
I don't think the fictional Swallow actually appears again the the books except for the ML fantasy.
