Well, the answer to the question whether you can be Nancy is both yes and no. It is a rule, whether implicit or otherwise, not to choose for your own middle name the name of any of the main characters like Nancy. But when you are recognized for an outstanding contribution to ARC, then they (I don't exactly know who they are... by unanimous vote, maybe?) may give such middle name to you, because quite understandably names like Nancy or John are regarded as honorable titles. So you cannot just go ahead and declare yourself as Nancy (for fear a dozen Nancys should turn up overnight?), but if you, say, donate a million dollars to ARC, there is a very big chance that you may eventually be Nancy. But, wait a second, come to think of it, there is already a Nancy in ARC, I think. So in this case the answer maybe a definite no. (Can you be satisfied with being, say, Susan?)
