Grange over Sands Railway Station

A RAILWAY station serving a scenic South Lakes seaside town has won a prestigious international accolade.
Grange scooped the title of Best Small Station in Europe in this year’s International Station Awards.

The competition, now in its second year, is organised by railway operators across Europe, and Grange station
beat off competition from Holland, Ireland and across the UK.

Possibly a tad of topic, but I thought that many TarBoargers would be interested. It proves that things are done
differently in the Lake Country.
