I think you can replace water with cold tea in a number of recipes.
You can also use cold tea for staining brand new floor boards, so that they match much older ones. The fellows rebuilding our 1870 house did. I was impressed.
D'you suppose this happened when they redecorated Beckfoot, in PM? Or was Beckfoot altogether too new?
