Having just posted my belief that latrines and 'needing to go' generally don't further
the plot, I must admit that the omission of the head in Wild Cat is inexcusable. I just hope
there is one in Nancy Blackett.
There's an old story about the plans for a new office building for the College of Cardinals being
submitted to the Pope for approval back in the 1950s (for some curious reason apparently the Pope,
clearly being the head of the church, has the ultimate say about things like building plans in Vatican City,
or so goes the story.)
After reviewing the plans, the pontiff scrawled "Are they angels?" on them and sent them back to the
architect. Took a week for him to realize he'd left out the bathrooms...
