This is a good thought, Brad. But I do not recall, without checking, any mention of the NP in PM.

To me, the NP ranks alongside Beckfoot as places for which the originals have yet to be discovered. Both Swallowdale and Horseshoe Cove have some good candidates.

Perhaps both the NP and Beckfoot are well away from any lake, the NP might even be a summer house in the grounds of Beckfoot. Perhaps high on a hillside overlooking a lake.
