There ae several well-illustrated entries for Tilberthwaite Gill (or Ghyll). The first one shows someone clambering up the sides of the Gill, and includes the waterfalls and the CAVE. The beck seems to occupy the whole Gill and would never leave enough room for pitching tents.
There is anoter entry headed 1st October, 2006 which also has some good photos.
