I must be too late to see the pics but I once saw two Canadian canoes lashed together ploughing past Peel Island powered by a square sail emblazoned with a viking emblem.
Perhaps they had escaped from that fantasy series where a group of Picts were somehow teleported into ancient Polynesia.
Or maybe from a local outdoor pursuits centre.
