Fairly fast travel between Euston & Liverpool Street! Especially as one has to change tubes if not going by taxi. However as there is a half hourly sevice from Liverpool Street it does not matter if they leave an hour later.
The jouney via Warrington will involve the almost universal change at Oxenholme. Depending on trains you might also have to change at Peterborough and maybe Bury St Edmunds. They might have to take a taxi between Bank Quay and Central to make their connection as they might have done at Manchester.
Anyway an interesting journey either in the 30's or today.
