This is a campaign where postcards addressed to the BBC Director General with the pre-printed
message "Swallows and Amazons Forever!" would probably not be the optimum lobbying tool.
However, a few imaginative letters to Controller of BBC Children's TV, Richard Deverell,
or Anne Gilchrist, Creative Director of CBBC, together with other letters on TARS, or even TURNIPS,
letterhead making appropriate comments (e.g. I do hope that this time round greater care will be
taken with the casting of... .) would show that interest is mounting.
Only don't all write at once...
