As an aside, Sterno used to be the favourite tipple of certain down-and-out people in Canada when they couldn't get something a little better to drink, like Canadian wine. Also known as "Canned heat". Come to think of it, I haven't seen any around for years. The government may have banned its sale. Of course, now stores sell propane in pressurized cans which is a gas and so pretty hard to drink. Never heard of anyone inhaling it for a buzz, either. I bought a bottle of New Zealand sherry a couple of years ago. Tastes remarkably like sweetened kerosene. No, I've never drunk kerosene.
