Kodak was also used generically in the UK. At least it shows up that way in the Chalet School series, by Elinor Brent-Dyer.

Bandaid and jello are other American ones.
Also, strictly speaking canola oil should only be used for low erucic acid rapeseed oil from Canada, but that doesn't stop people here.
