I suspect that Google is more right than I am in this case (well there has to be first time for everything). I was translating from the French, 'Salade de museau de boeuf'. That gets 179 hits, all of which appear to be in French (I didn't check to the bitter end) and all of which made my mouth water. But clearly it's not exactly a national dish in any English speaking country.

It's one of the staple things they sell in the Migros supermarket cafeterias. Time I had a small stay in Switzerland again...
