Another eating time that is probably now defunct was Elenvenes( not sure if that is the way it is spelt) but anyway a snack at eleven to get one through from breakfast to dinner(lunch). I imagine Roger would have had one at nine ,ten, and every hour of the day if allowed.
Here in the States I was surprised to find Lunch time could and often does start at eleven
