Can anyone suggest an appropriately Ransomish snack for those of us who choose to remain on the sidelines to enjoy?
Having stranded myself in the middle of no man's land I have to agree that Ransome does place a lot of value on skilled labour- Peter Duck, sailing skills. But at the same time, Captain Flint gets very sympathetic treatment and he appears to lead a fairly leisurely non-productive life. Non productive in the sense that he doesn't actually do that much practical mining or produce food/boats
