No, but there are examples of disparagement based on other differences. Port and Starboard make fun of their father's Scots housekeeper and mimic her. I have always disliked these passages. And there's Susan's out-of-role unkind comment about the Ds in WH - that they should be pitied because they were townies, or words to that effect. I think both of these examples could have been omitted by AR. I am not against realism but these passages merely grate.
