OK. First point granted. Re second point the Eels are background characters.
If AR had expanded them any further he would have had readers hoping that they might
be popping up again in subsequent books. Re breakfast, I always try to have at least one
AR moment (usually by reading TarBoard) before eating breakfast. (Today's was
garlic sausage and cream cheese with spring onion sandwiches.)
