In answer to the question, I don't have time to propose anything complicated. Just give him and easy ride - he wouldn't know what a 'flame' was if it came up and singed his trousers. They have been on a computer course today, so I hope that at any rate he won't try to quant my iMac up the Ant. Or that I'll come home and find the system folder in the Wastebasket.
He won't have the least idea who any of you are, or what this is all about. I'll explain it to him as 'being a bit like radio hams'. Do please someone ask him a question or two about wherries or he'll be a tad disappointed. It'd be nice if he could go back to Norfolk and tell his mates he's been on the Internet. And please don't expect too much either. Assuming I can talk him into it, he may just decide to tuck the odd reef into the computer, in which case you'll get nothing.
