I assure you no insult was intended Kathy, just a simple statement. My point was, and remains, that many Yoosans seem to peoples of other nations to be remarkably parochial in what passes for their "world view." Please refer to my second reply to John Lambert for more information -- to which I might add, still as a paraphrase from an email to my Southerner friend, that there in the USA you have this mighty country that seems to have got so big and powerful it thinks no other country amounts to a hill of beans (unless of course it has lots of oil, when you’re rather inclined to invade it....)
